The beginning of the week the news kept reporting that we were going to get 1-3 inches of snow! It was suppose to start Thursday morning early, January 7, 2010. Well then they said it was suppose to start with rain, turn to sleet or ice and then turn back to snow by late afternoon with temps dropping all day. Well we got rain! That's about it. One time for about a couple of minutes it sleeted but then it was gone. So once again we didn't get snow. BUT we didn't get ice.... that's the good news! The temps on Friday only reached around 32 and the lows for the rest of the weekend are in the teens - and to make matters worse - the wind is really blowing. We are just not used to this cold of weather here in Mississippi!
