I had bought some ground cover plants to put between the sidewalk and porch but Larry and I decided that we wanted something else. We took them back and with Dane Morgan's help we purchased 2 Nandina bushes to put on each end and then three Japanese Holly to put in between. Brent had come up Saturday and sprayed it to kill the weeds and grass. Larry worked at Wey until 5:30 and came in and started tilling it up AFTER cranking the "merry tiller" after many idle years. (4/5/11) We got the monkey grass from Dane's. After working on it for a couple of days, we finished up at dark on Thursday, April 7, 2011
Ok.....then we added our garden flag on the carport end with a few marigolds and then on the other end next to the door we added one of the flowers Larry made along with some marigolds and petunias.
