Birds of a Feather

Benny Mordecai gave us one of these redbirds years ago and we had it in our yard.

Then the stick broke and it ended up in the shed.   Larry got it out and fixed it and decided that he wanted to make some.... so he started cutting and painting and I started painting.   We are having trouble finding something that will work good to make the wings.   Rebecca took the aqua/blue - we told her to pick out which one she wanted for Mother's Day!  We have a yellow one and another one I have started painting that we will have to finish!  5/7/11
