Thanksgiving Day - November 26, 2009

Larry and I sampling the desserts!

Isabella Manuel and Dot

David did a great job carving the turkey - it was really good!

Looks like Larry might be dozing off!

Dad and Nick

Mom and Polly

Forrest brought the entertainment - a four legged chicken.

I grew these roses and picked them from the back yard this morning.

We left around 9:30 going to Brandon to spend Thanksgiving.   We got to Sis's house and she told us it wasn't going to be at her house - it was going to be at Cheryl's house.   So we loaded back up and went to Cheryl's!    It was a gorgeous day outside - a little cool especially if you were in the shade but the sun was great.   We had all the traditional Thanksgiving food for lunch.   Dad made the trip pretty good.   Forrest talked to all the sisters about him renovating Ma-maw and Pa-paw Mooney's house.   We left around 4:00 coming home and made if right before dark.   Molly was proud to see us and was a good girl while we were gone!   We have so much to be thankful for:   Dad is improving from Guillean Barre, Weyerhaeuser is slowly improving (and Larry in Maintenance got to work several weeks that other didn't), we got to go to the Mountains on a trip with Larry's family for a week - just to name a few of the blessings.
