Even though it's not about the gifts we receive, we did get a lot of nice gifts for Christmas. We gave this year to: Lottie Moon, to Louie Barnett, and I made a cake for Dr. May and staff. Mom and I went in together and got Sara at Shelter Insurance a gift certificate to Peggy's - she is so good to help us! This year, funds were limited due to Larry being laid off so much this year. Larry and I went shopping the first Saturday in December and several things we wanted/needed and this will be most of our Christmas.
Julie Williams gave me some cheese from MSU along with a stick of Summer Sausage and a jar of pickled Asparagus and a packet of hot chocolate mix.

Larry's boss gave him a travel mug (Vickie). The church gave me a $100 honorarium. Hilda Crenshaw and Claudia Smith gave me a pair of earrings. Heaven (Louie's girl) gave me a snowman basket with cookies.
The Monogrammed Towel (below) was made by Patsy Barham. She (along with Lynn and the kids at church) always give me a hand-made gift for Christmas.

Yvette and Horace brought us some "yummy" home-made candy and some tangerines for Christmas. She always makes the best candy - especially peanut brittle!
Mack and Sue Jones gave me a book for Christmas -The Shepherd, the Angel and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog - couldn't have picked out anything I like any better; love to read, love Christmas stories and it's about a dog!!!! I am going to start reading it tonight (Christmas Day).
I picked these boots out at Shoe Station. I really like the way they look.... I tried to put them on before going to work one morning and decided it just wasn't worth the effort. I think they would have been easier to get on if I'd of had leggings on! I took them back!
I used this dip bowl tihat Sylvia gave me and made some dip for one night at the Nativity Scene.
I kept these boots - wore them to work one morning - can't decide if they are houses shoes or not!
Chip and Dip bowl that the preacher gave me for Christmas.
Larry put these up for me - got them at Walmart.
I have been needing this - I plan on wearing it every time I watch MSU play!
